At a cultural and tourist fair on Saturday in Lhasa, the capital of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, deals on 60 projects totaling more than 53 billion yuan (about 7.44 billion USD) were inked.
Additionally, during the 5th China Xizang Tourism and Culture Expo, which started on Friday, seven strategic framework agreements were inked.
One of the most significant occasions in Tibet’s cultural calendar is the exhibition. About 10,000 different goods have been brought to the exhibition by close to 1,000 domestic and international enterprises.
The three-day event includes exhibitors, a major conference, and events to promote tourism and investments.
The exhibition was co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Tibetan regional administration in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2018.
